It's official I'm a blog slacker!!! Here is Easter finally. Easter in May, only a month off.
We had a great Easter!! We kicked off Easter this year with the Easter Egg Hunt in good ole' Goshen. Brian absolutely hates that I insist on going out there every year but I hate to tell ya honey, it's a tradition and will be until we move far enough away we can't drive there that morning. On with the story. We hunted for eggs in absolutely frigid weather. Why is it that it always has to be FREEZING on Easter? Bentley loved hunting the Easter Eggs. After we hung out with my fam for a little bit.
The Easter Egg Hunt-The kids were freezing-Bentley with my adorable niece and nephew, I could adopt those kids!
On Easter morning Bentley snuck downstairs before we had got out of bed. I ran down after him so he wouldn't get his basket before we were awake. When I got downstairs he was looking at Brian's basket with the saddest look on his face. He said, "The Easter Bunny forgot to come." If he had looked his basket was right behind him.

The Easter Bunny decided to send Bentley and I on a little scavenger hunt to find our things. Bentley's ended up under the stairs and it was a new bike!!! He was so excited!
The New Bike
I almost forgot the
best,
worst, most interesting part of Easter. We went to Randall and Vicki's (the in-laws) house for family night later that night and Vicki sent us on a Easter Egg hunt all over town. The hunt led back to her house in the downstairs family room. What did the little kiddies find there? Baby chicks, ducks, and turkeys. Yes, you heard right. My father-in-law went out and bought each of the kids their own baby chick and each family a baby turkey. He also bought two baby ducks. The kids were SO excited, the mom's on the other hand, not so much. Randall was laughing the whole time. So NOT funny!!! Overall we had a great Easter!

Baby chicks and Turkeys, huh? What did you do with them, keep them or leave them with Vicki and Randall to deal with? Sounds like a ton of fun though!
